This Code of Professional Conduct embodies principles to which our own company and our Representative / Associate Firms and Introductory Agents are strictly expected to adhere and advocate. These tenets for ethical business conduct encompass rules regarding both individual and peer responsibilities, as well as responsibilities to Owen Jones Business Group and/or Owen Jones Capital Group, Inc. (Owen Jones Group), the public and other stakeholders.
Representative and Associate Firms and Owen Jones Group commitment to this Code of Ethics is as follows:
1) Act with honesty and integrity, avoiding actual
or apparent conflicts of interest in personal and professional
relationships with the intent of seeking to consistently consider
the interests of others alongside our own.
2) Provide clients and our suppliers, in utmost
good faith, information that we believe to be accurate, complete,
objective, fair, relevant, timely and understandable.
3) Comply with rules and regulations of federal, state, provincial and local governments, and other appropriate private and public regulatory agencies.
4) Act in good faith, responsibly, with due care, competence and diligence, without misrepresenting material facts.
5) Respect the confidentiality of information acquired in the course of one's work except when authorized or otherwise legally obligated to disclose.
6) Maintain professionalism at all times.
7) Proactively promote and be an example of ethical behavior as a responsible associate or employee of Owen Jones Group in the work environment and the community.
8) Maintain responsible use, control, and stewardship over all materials provided by Owen Jones Group that are entrusted for our use.
9) Not unduly or fraudulently influence, coerce,
manipulate, or mislead any client or supplier.
10) Observe the rule and spirit of the law and comply with the ethical and technical requirements of relevant regulatory or professional bodies.
If a Representative or Associate Firm is aware of any suspected or known violations of this Code of Professional Conduct, they have a duty to promptly report such concerns to Owen Jones Group.
Any violations of this Code of Professional Conduct may result in immediate termination of being a registered Representative / Associate Firm, Introductory Agent, or employee of Owen Jones Group.
